Finance ministry says Russian Jan budget surplus at 3.7% of GDP
MOSCOW, Feb 14 (PRIME) – Russia’s budget surplus amounted to 3.7% of the gross domestic product (GDP) in January, the Finance Ministry said in a statement on Thursday.
Revenue stood at 1.485 trillion rubles, or 7.4% of the planned figure for the year. Spending amounted to 1.203 trillion rubles, 6.7% of the plan.
The Federal Tax Service contributed 981.4 billion rubles to the budget, the Federal Customs Service contributed 421.1 billion rubles, and the other authorities paid 82.9 billion rubles.
